Esther Mcgrew is currently licensed in the State of Texas by the Texas Department of State Health Services as a License Chemical Dependency Counselor. 

 

She earned a Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling from Friends International Christian University of Merced, CA, and other degrees in The Arts, Social Work, Substance Abuse, and as a Licensed Minister. 

 

Her role as a counselor will be to listen, share ideas, stimulate thought, respect individual struggles and abilities, and support them steps toward restoration through a holistic approach.  The ultimate goal will be to promote emotional well-being, a program of recovery and spiritual growth. 

 

Esther's counseling experience has included working with youth and women’s organizations, as well as serving as a marriage counselor For Gospel Tabernacle church; worked in Adult Residential and Outpatient Treatment Programs, Providing Services to CPS clients; adults, families, and youth dealing with substances of abuse/addiction and related issues such as: parenting, depression, life skills, relationship problems, low self-esteem, physical/mental/verbal and sexual abuse, grief and loss, co-dependency and other areas of life that may affected by substance abuse or addiction.

Remember substance abuse is a family affair.  Drugs of abuse include: alcohol, illicit drugs, and prescriptions.
